- The cartridge port or the user port? The user port is the one on the
- back left side. It is controlled by one of the CIA chips. Replace
- that chip if the port is dead. The cartridge port (which is what I
- assume you are talking about) connects directly to the bus. Clean the
- contacts, etc. It may not be recognizing that a cart has been inserted.
- I think the PLA chip is in charge of seeing the cart, so maybe that
- is bad, but it is more likely the contacts are dirty or worn.
